Dangerous Curves: Art of the Guitar (November 5, 2000–February 25, 2001)
A Chrysalis guitar built by Tim White was featured in the MFA’s landmark exhibition Dangerous Curves: Art of the Guitar, which explored the guitar as an artistic and cultural object. The exhibition included historical instruments, contemporary designs, and experimental forms, placing the Chrysalis guitar among some of the most innovative guitar designs of the modern era.

Musical Bodies (Current: June 7, 2026 – September 27, 2026)
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is currently featuring Ridgewing guitar Serial No. 4 in the exhibition Musical Bodies, on display from June 7, 2026 through September 27, 2026. This Ridgewing has the aluminum body frame and is fitted with a light-show upgrade. This exhibition explores the multifaceted relationship between musical instruments and the human body.
