The Ridgewing prototype #3, completed in December 2014, was the first carbon fiber prototype with an interchangeable self-tuning headstock. Grills were gold and the bridge cover and pickguard were transparent green, and the red foam background gives it a nice holiday touch. This was one beautiful guitar. Q spent more than a day tweaking the pickup and bridge electronics until he was satisfied the tone couldn’t get any better.
