Guitar artists, players and makers, take it as an article of faith that inside the guitar resides some kind of spirit that gives it its powers over listeners. Ridgewing body components – frames, grills and bridge, reveal the soul of a beautiful woman living there (yes, a real person from long ago). The CAD design of the grills begins with creating mirror-image surfaces on which to lay out the grillwork pattern. The surfaces are not visible in the finished grills, but give the grills their 3-dimensional hyper-feminine character. CAD programs used are Pro-E and Solidworks.
