A major goal design challenge in developing the Ridgewing guitar was to take a full-size, full-scale, traditional outline guitar and reduce its packing size to its absolute physical minimum. Here the black leather “Biker” case is shown next to a traditional electric guitar case. The leather case measures 19” long by 8” wide by 2.5” thick (47.5cm x 20cm x 6.5cm). Re-assembling the guitar to pitch from this case or dis-assembling it back in again for transport takes less than 20 seconds.
