In March 2014 the wheels had started to turn for relaunching the Chrysalis Guitar. However the project needed a new name. Experience had shown that few could reliably spell or pronounce “Chrysalis”, and there was a large British music publishing company named “Chrysalis Music” that created an unavoidable trademark problem.

There was a brainstorming session held on March 16 in a room at the Cambridge Innovation Center near MIT to find a new name. Here is the whiteboard at the end of that meeting.
