The attaché case layout went through several iterations. The goal was to incorporate a full kit needed by a traveler to make music without being limited to head phones. A sound-effects unit, the January 9, 2017 Picture-of-the-Day, was included to provide some serious tonal variety. For amplification a small FM radio transmitter was considered (small unit in center of treble side) that could play to any FM radio within 10 feet. However, the fact that hotel radios are intentionally so crappy that no one would want to steal one discouraged this option. At this time, in 2014, compact high-quality battery-powered Bluetooth speakers had not yet emerged in the market, so the issue was punted. Now there are high-fidelity units just 2” thick which could be hung right inside the guitar. The future is bright.
